This March 84C was delivered to Galles Racing for the 1984 season. It was driven by future 2 time Indy 500 winner, sophomore driver Al Unser Jr. The engine is a Cosworth Ford DFX. In the 1984 Indy 500, Al started 15th and ran as high as second before retiring on lap131 with a water pump leak. He was credited with 21st place. He managed a win at Portland and finished 6th in the championship.
