Lola T298 Hu96. This 2 Liter sports prototype is powered by the BMW M12 and uses a Hewland gearbox. This is probably the best T298 available. It saw very little action in it's life. It was originally sold by Heini Mader Racing to Domenico Scola in 1979. Domenico competed in 7 hillclimbs in 1980 and then sold the car to Pietro Laureati at the end of the season. Pietro used it in 8 hillclimbs in 1981-82. Pietro sold the car to the current owner. It has been run since Pietro sold it. The engine and gearbox were overhauled in 1989 and it has been in storage ever since. The fuel cell, safety harness and fire bottle are all expired. This is a wonderful car for someone who is looking for a 2 Liter Sports Prototype. For more information email: info@indycompetition.com or call (765) 335-2057.
