This March 77ST began life as a 75S powered by a Hart 420R engine and originally driven by John Lepp. It was later imported by Doug Shierson Racing under the model designation 77ST. It finally morphed into a March 802 (not be confused with the Formula 2 car).

As a 75S it was originally driven by John Lepp who scored 1st place overall at the Silverstone Daily Express race in 1975. He also scored class wins at Nurburgring and Zeltwig that year. In 1976 he won in class at Zolder and shared the car for the Dijon 500 with future Formula 1/Indycar/Group C driver Vern Schuppan. Other notables that drove it include Guy Edwards, Teddy Pilette, and Dave Morgan.

In 1977 it was used in the SCCA Can Am 2 liter class as chassis 77ST-001 and driven by Bobby Brown. Scoring a class win at Mid-Ohio. It then when onto Greg Sorrentino. Sorrentino had legendary fabricator Ron Fournier modify the tub to a single seater and rebodied the car giving it the designation March 802. It was sold to Charlie Monk for the 1982 season. It ended it's 2 Liter Can Am career in 1984 owned and driven by Byron Walker.

This car is now undergoing restoration. New  tub and bodywork. It can be restored in any of the 3 model designations that it had. Engine choice can be a Hart 420R or the preferred Cosworth BDG. The gearbox is a Hewland FG400.
