This a Lola T9700, chassis #Hu12. While it is Shell colors, it was not a Team Rahal car.  It was originally raced by Payton-Coyne Racing in 1997. That season they had a number of drivers, including Michel Jourdain Jr., Christian Danner, Roberto Moreno and Charles Nearburg.  Their best finish was 7th at Michigan with Dennis Vitolo driving. 

This car is powered by the Cosworth Ford XD engine and utilizes a Hewland gearbox. This car is a project as it is partially disassembled, including the engine being disassembled. The photos accurately show it's current state.
