This Parnelli P6B was owned by Interscope Records founder Ted Field and driven by Danny Ongais. This is chassis #6 built during 1977 and debuted that year in the Pocono 500. The engine is a Cosworth Ford DFX and is currently not in the car. The engine is fresh with 0 miles and was done by VDS Racing Engines. The gearbox is a longitudinal gearbox built by Weisman. We believe Ongais used this car through the 1980 season.
