Indycar chief mechanic Bill Finley built this Eagle looking Indycar for Tassi Vatis in the 1970's.

Indycar chief mechanic Bill Finley built this Eagle looking Indycar for Tassi Vatis in the 1970's. While certainly not an Eagle it certainly looks similar. For 1974 Indianapolis 500 this car was qualified 29th by rookie Johnny Parsons Jr, he finished in 26th place. Mike Hiss drove the car in the 1975 Indianapolis 500, qualifying 31st and finishing 29th.
It was powered with an Offenhauser engine and used a Hewland LG500 gearbox. The car is currently undergoing restoration. The Hewland gearbox has been completely rebuilt. The Offenhauser engine is a display unit only and would be a separate purchase from the car.
