The Dallara GP2/08 was introduced in 2008 as the spec car for GP2. It was used until the end of 2010 and then it was super ceded by the Dallara GP2/11. It uses the 620 HP 4.0 Liter Mechachrome V-8 engine and 6 speed sequential Hewland gearbox.
