This is Brabham BT35-8. It was originally built to Formula Atlantic specs. It is powered by a Cosworth BDA engine coupled to a Hewland FT200 gearbox. This car made it's debut in 1971 with Ed Reeves driving. On occasion, Reeves put Dave Morgan behind the wheel. Formula 2 allowed for a 2 Liter engine. For the 1972 opening round of the British Formula 2 season at Mallory Park, Morgan with an undersize engine of 1.84 Liters. The talented Morgan beat some drivers that went onto big things in their careers. After Reeves purchased a new BT38, this car was sold in Australia. It returned to the UK in 2015 where it underwent restoration at Simon Hadfield Motorsport.
