A.J. Foyt Racing built this Coyote for the 1970 season. It is powered with a turbocharged Four Cam Ford engine. A.J. put this car on the outside of the front row for the 1970 Indianapolis 500. He finished the race in 10th place.  He later drove this car in the 1970 California 500 at the Ontario Motor Speedway. He started 7th, crashed on lap 131 and was credited with 15th place. The car was later purchased by Lee Brayton in 1972. Lee raced it until the end of 1975. It's final appearance was the 1975 California 500 where he qualified 27th and finished 22nd.

This is a restoration project. It is still in colors and graphics as it last raced. The car is mostly there. The engine has been rebuilt. The gearbox case has had it's Black chromate restored. The gearbox is missing it's internals. Plus their are some additional parts.
