This 1966 Gerhardt Indy car was originally owned by Ken Brenn. The engine is the Four Cam Ford, displacing 255 cubic inches. It debuted at Phoenix with SCCA Can Am ace, Lothar Motsenbacher driving. At Trenton he was replaced with Bob Harkey for the remainder of the 1967 season.  At Indianapolis, Harkey failed to qualify the car. The team did not run all the races in 1967, not entering 6 of them. Harkey's best finishes were a pair of 7th places at Milwaukee and Langhorne.

Brenn sold the car in 1968 to Bulldog Stables and it was converted to Chevy power. Bulldog campaigned the car in 1968 & 69. Drivers were Gene Bergin, Bob Harkey and Denny Zimmerman. It was then sold to Jerry Karl who kept it configured with the Chevy engine. Karl raced in 1970 & 71. It was then sold to future NASCAR star Geoff Bodine and converted into a super modified.

It underwent restoration in 2015 and was returned to it's original configuration, complete with the Ford DOHC engine.
