The Indy roadster was built by Eddie Kuzma and owned by Lysle Greenman and
Ernie Casale. Greenman was the owner of a Dodge dealership in the Los Angeles
area and Ernie Casale the Chief mechanic, Owner of Casale Engineering of Santa
Fe Springs, CA. A manufacturer of steering boxes and quick-change rear ends for
Indy cars. The Greenman-Casale car was first Indy roadster to display flames on a
race car.
