Five chassis were produced and driven by Al Unser Jr. and Paul Tracy. This is chassis 001 and was driven by Paul Tracy. The Ilmor-produced 850 bhp Mercedes-Benz IC108D engine served as the powerplant, driving through an Xtrac gearbox within a Penske housing.

This is a rolling chassis. No engine, gearbox is empty and all other useable equipment has been removed. This is a perfect display car.
