A.J. Foyt Jr. is an icon in the racing world. 4 Indianapolis 500 wins, the winning of  24hrs. of Le Mans in 1967 and the 1972 Daytona 500 victory. These are just the highlights of storied career of 40 years. Their will never be another man like him.

We are proud to offer this 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Built by Hutcherson-Pagan for A.J.Foyt Racing and powered by the ubiquitous small block Chevrolet.He made his last Daytona 500 appearance in this car, starting 13th and finishing 36th.  He later drove it in the Pepsi 400 at Daytona and the Diehard 500 at Talladega that same year. During the 1991 season A.J. entered the car in 3 races with Mike Chase driving.

It was this car that planted the seed for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Brickyard 400 event in September 1991.  A.J. had this car at the speedway for filming a television commercial for the Sears brand, Craftsman Tools. At the end of the day A.J took a few laps in it. Then he turned it over to IMS president Tony George to drive. Tony George drove it 6 laps and that is all that was required to get the wheels turning on this idea. In August 1992, Goodyear conducted their first NASCAR tire test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

This car is in beautiful condition. It runs and drives. It needs nothing. It does not have any spare parts or support equipment with it.
