This was one of 3 cars built by Fred Gerhardt for 1965. Powered by a 252 cubic inch Offenhauser engine. Ronnie Duman qualified 25th for the 1965 Indianapolis 500.

This was one of 3 cars built by Fred Gerhardt for 1965. It was originally purchased by Ernie Ruiz and sponsored by Travelon Trailer. It is powered with a 252 cubic inch Offenhauser engine and utilizes a Halibrand gearbox. It debuted at Indianapolis that year. Ronnie Duman qualified 25th and finished 22nd, retiring with gearbox failure. It would be the only appearance for this car in 1965. 

This car remained semi-active until 1971. It had the following drivers in those years,Mike McGreevy, Bob Tattersall, Dick Atkins, Bob Wente, George Benson, Bob Christie, Chuck Hulse, Bruce Jacobi, Dave Strickland, Johnny Anderson, Carl Williams, Jigger Sirois and Arnie Knepper.


It later underwent restoration and appeared at Goodwood and Brands Hatch in 2015.


It comes with spare front wheels and a starter.
